At BTI, great delivery happens because of great people.

Every day, across every branch and every department, our teams are doing the work that keeps supply moving, clients supported and operations on track. Sometimes that means staying late. Sometimes it means stepping into another role. Sometimes it means giving up a weekend to make sure the job gets done.

That is what The Heroes Programme is all about.

It recognises the people behind the promise. The team members who show up, step in and do whatever it takes to keep BTI moving.

What Makes a BTI Hero?

A BTI Hero is someone who makes a real difference through the way they work.

They are the people who take responsibility when something needs to be done. They support their teams. They help keep operations moving. They bring focus, care and commitment into the everyday moments that matter.

Most importantly, they help BTI deliver on its promise: Confidence of Supply. Peace of Mind. Always.

Each month, every BTI branch nominates at least two heroes. These are people from across the business who have shown what it means to live BTI’s values through action.

Meet Some of Our Heroes

This year, BTI has already recognised a number of individuals who have gone the extra mile.

Tyron Ramsamy dedicated his weekend to supporting the completion of the 2026/7 budgets. It was focused, detailed work that helped keep an important business process on track.

“Tyron stepped in when the work needed focus and commitment. His support helped us keep an important process moving, and that kind of ownership is exactly what The Heroes Programme is here to recognise,”.

Nathan Isaacs supported warehouse operations through strong inventory management, helping the team keep stock organised and operations moving.

“Nathan’s work helped bring structure and reliability to the warehouse environment. Strong inventory management plays an important role in keeping operations moving, and his contribution made a real difference to the team,”.

Xolani Maphisa led the Receiving QC team, supporting an important part of the supply process and helping to make sure work was handled with care.

“Xolani showed strong leadership in Receiving QC. His support helped the team stay focused on the work that needs to happen behind the scenes to keep supply moving with confidence,”.

Edmond Seleti helped ensure smooth dispatch and consistent on-time delivery, supporting the movement of goods where it mattered most.

Klass Matjea stepped up to manage the Bosal team, taking responsibility and helping the team continue with confidence.

Talia Naidoo supported team development while taking on additional responsibilities, showing care for both people and performance.

Banele Khomo worked overtime over weekends to support the consolidation project and help keep operations moving forward.

The Heroes Programme gives BTI the opportunity to pause and recognise these moments. It reminds us that every role matters, every contribution counts and every act of commitment helps strengthen the way we deliver.
