DoGo Power | BT Industries Announce Their Market Entry and Partnership at Their First Technical Workshop in Johannesburg, March 2026. The Workshop Signals Strong Market Endorsement and Lays the Foundation for Growth.

Following their launch at Solar & Storage Live Africa, held at Gallagher Estate in March 2026, DoGo Power and BT Industries hosted an exclusive technical workshop that shifted the focus from exhibition engagement to real-world application – bringing together key industry stakeholders to engage directly on the future of renewable energy in South Africa.

The workshop created a focused, application-driven environment where requirement, implementation and delivery was explored in practical terms. The session combined technical deep-dives, live discussion and applied case thinking – moving beyond theory into how solutions perform in real operating conditions.

Critically, the workshop drew a high-level stakeholder audience, with strong representation from leaders in both public and private sector actively involved in energy infrastructure, investment and implementation. The calibre of attendees, and the level of engagement throughout, reinforced the relevance of the solutions being presented.

At the centre of the session was DoGo Power’s advanced grid-forming PV and energy storage technology – engineered for demanding energy environments, like those found across Africa. The technology was unpacked in detail, with a clear focus on grid stability, scalability, safety and real-world deployment, positioning it as a practical solution to the continent’s evolving energy challenges.

Alongside the technology, BTI’s role as an Integrated Distribution Partner (IDP) was brought into clear focus. Backed by capital strength, global sourcing capability and proven in-market delivery, BTI demonstrated how the partnership bridges the gap between supply and execution – ensuring that solutions are not only technically sound, but commercially and operationally delivered.

The workshop highlighted four clear outcomes that strengthened confidence in both the technology and its delivery into market:

  • Safety validation: De Wet Engelbrecht, CEO of FireOps, addressed the importance of safety in renewable energy solutions and endorsed the integrity of the DoGo systems.
  • Industry alignment: Dhevan Pillay, CEO of LTM Energy and VP of SAEEC, provided perspective on market direction and the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions.
  • Exclusive supply partnership signing: BTI Industries and DoGo Power formalised their exclusive supply and distribution partnership, marking the official introduction of the DoGo offering into the South African market through BTI’s established in-market capability and distribution network.
  • Strategic partnership signing: BTI, DoGo Power and LTM Energy concluded a strategic partnership agreement focused on collaboration across renewable energy implementation, aligning technology, industry expertise and delivery capability to support future market growth.

As Quintin Terreblanche, CEO of BT Industries, commented:
“This workshop marks an important step in BTI’s strategic growth into the renewable energy sector. The level of engagement and alignment we’ve seen has created real momentum within the business and among our partners. What’s been particularly encouraging is the energy coming out of this engagement – there is clear intent to move forward, and we are committed to building on this foundation to deliver meaningful, scalable solutions into the market.”

Described by attendees as carrying a strong sense of “optimistic energy,” the workshop signalled more than interest – it reflected clear confidence in a solution and partnership focused on enabling successful implementation at scale.

In a market defined by complexity and urgency, the DoGo Power I BT Industries workshop stands as a clear indication that the right alignment between technology, capability and delivery is set to make a strong entrance into the South Africa landscape.
