Johannesburg, South Africa – DoGo Power / BT Industries made a strong and confident debut at Solar & Storage Live Africa 2026, showcasing their newly launched advanced grid-forming (GFM) PV and energy storage solutions alongside a robust renewable energy component offering. The exhibition marked the launch of a new strategic partnership between DoGo Power and BT Industries – combining DoGo Power’s advanced global technology with BT Industries’ local heritage and delivery capability to introduce scalable, high-performance energy solutions tailored for the African market.

The stand drew consistent engagement across the exhibition, with delegates experiencing live, close-range interaction with fully integrated energy storage systems. The featured unit – an intelligent, modular battery storage system-offered a tangible demonstration of how scalable, high-performance energy solutions can be deployed across commercial, industrial and utility-scale environments.

Delegates were able to explore the advanced system architecture in detail, unpacking battery cell configuration, system management capabilities, and real-world application scenarios. The showcased solution highlighted a fully integrated, high-efficiency design – featuring a 125kW system with a 268kWh capacity, engineered for simple delivery through an all-in-one configuration requiring no on-site installation. Built with automotive-grade short blade battery cells and a dual cold plate structure, the system delivers enhanced safety, durability, and ultra-long lifespan. Underpinned by a grid-forming (GFM) foundation and supported by intelligent software, the solution enables smart energy management, intuitive control, smart scheduling, and streamlined operations and maintenance – placing complete system control in the hands of the user.

While advanced PV and energy storage technologies are increasingly accessible, their successful implementation depends on more than innovation alone.

“The reality is that this technology – and what’s coming next – is critical to improving safety, efficiency, and the way energy costs are managed,” said Hilton Loring, Strategic Growth Executive at BT Industries. “What’s been especially encouraging is the level of market interest and engagement around both the technology and what it enables. We’re excited to support this with not only structured supply and local delivery, but also the financial solutions required to ensure effective implementation – connecting world-class technology with the confidence of supply to deliver solutions that are built for Africa.”

The exhibition not only marked the introduction of these technologies into the local market but also formally signalled the strength of the DoGo Power I BT Industries partnership – a collaboration that combines advanced global energy innovation with proven in-market delivery capability.

“The level of engagement at the event was exceptional,” said Vanessa Chetty, Divisional Head: Renewable Energy at BT Industries. “We connected with a highly informed and forward-thinking audience. What stood out was the appetite for solutions that are not only technologically advanced, but designed for application in the African energy context. That’s exactly what this partnership delivers.”

With strong interest from EPCs, installers, developers, and commercial stakeholders, the response signals clear market readiness for intelligent, scalable energy solutions backed by dependable supply and technical support.
